Hotel Aguas Claras is located just outside Puerto Viejo, South of Limon on the South Eastern shores of Costa Rica; a cluster of colorful Caribbean-style Victorian cottages set amidst tropical gardens, it doesn’t get much more charming than this. The one, two or three-bedroom, fully-equipped houses reflect the owner’s eclectic creativity and the area’s mix of Afro-Caribbean and indigenous cultures.
Several one and two-bedroom houses accommodate four people, complete with kitchenettes. The largest house, five bedrooms, sleeps 10 and has a full kitchen. Each has a veranda overlooking the gardens, screened for privacy.
The 100-meter trail to the Playa Chiquita winds through lush rainforest. The combination of clear Caribbean waters, exotic plant and wildlife, beautiful landscapes, with modern accommodations, multicultural society and proximity to Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge make Hotel Aguas Claras a unique retreat for couples, as well as families.
